After you register for the SpringBOK course, we will help you complete your PMP application. Your PMP application MUST be completed prior to the start of our course in order for you to receive approval from PMI to take the PMP exam on Friday. Try to submit your application as early as possible to allow PMI sufficient time to process and approve it.

You can still attend the SpringBOK course if your application is not submitted beforehand. However, be aware that you may not be able to take the exam the same day as the other students in the class. We have templates and tutorials available to help you in completing the PMP application. Contact your instructor for additional information.

If you are in need of additional training to satisfy the 35 Contact Hours requirement, we offer a FREE online Project Manager Baseline course for all SpringBOK students. This online course will fulfill the 35 Contact Hours training requirement. Contact your instructor for further information. The 4-day PMP prep course can not be used for Contact Hours due to timing issues (the PMP application is submitted to PMI before taking the SpringBOK course).

Read through the PMBOK Guide, 4th Edition. This will help you become familiar with some of the terms/processes which we will be discussing in class. PMI will mail an electronic copy of the PMBOK to you. If you have not received it yet, contact your instructor to arrange other study methods.

Arrange your schedule during the week of class to minimize work/family/personal responsibilities as much as possible. We understand this is a difficult feat to accomplish. However, the fewer distractions you have while studying the more prepared, relaxed and confident you will be heading into the exam.

Begin memorizing the "Mind Map" sheets. Your instructor will email these to you several weeks before class. The more comfortable you are with the Mind Maps before class, the easier class will be and the better you will sleep the days leading up to the exam.

You are not required to bring any materials to class. Simply arrive on time with your calendar blocked for the week, and be in the right mindset to learn and have an enjoyable week!
